Parenting: Septuplets turn 18. THIS IS AWESOME!

Septuplets turn 18 (1)

Miraculously 18 years ago, seven little babies were born into the family of Bobbi and Kenny McCaughey in Iowa 3 girls and 4 boys. The tiny bundles of joy born in 1997, recently celebrated their 18th birthday on the 9th of November.
Conceived through IVF, the couple preferred to save all seven fertilized embryos against the odds of survival, they believed that God would see them through. . . And He did. Although the babies were nine weeks premature, they were delivered safely. Nurtured by their mother Bobbi and their father Kenny, all seven kids have grown up to become adults and are all working and saving up to give themselves basic treats such as nice cell phones etc.
It’s a bittersweet moment for Kenny and Bobbi; their miracle babies have survived and thrived, against all odds, but now they are ready to become adults, leave home and start lives of their own.

Presidency warns Biafra agitators, says govt. won’t tolerate “mindless violence”

A group of Northern youths under the aegis of North-East Youths Peace Development Initiative, NEYPDI, yesterday urged President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government to dialogue with those agitating for Biafra, instead of applying force against them.

The group also dissociates itself from the call for the Igbos in the north to vacate the area.
The National President, NEYPDI, Alhaji Kyari Idris Abubakar, in a statement said: “Like those of us who have been suffering from insurgency in the past years we would not hesitate to go against anything that would lead to violence in the country. FG should dialogue with the agitators and not force, as it is not the best approach in handling the matter.”
Abubakar expressed regret over the recent call for Igbos to move out of the north, adding that it was capable of generating tensions and possibly lead to violence. “I want to remind the group that we have northerners in the south-east and other parts of the country and if the threat is carried out, they would also be asked to move back to the north, the development that negates the principle of peaceful co-existence as a nation,” he said.
The youth leader also urged President Buhari and the Service Chiefs to step into the matter in order to avoid it from degenerating. According to Abubakar since the agitators of the sovereign state of Biafra did not enjoy the support of many Igbo leaders including the governors, there was no need for one to go as far as asking the Igbos to quit northern part of the country.

Abubakar who is also the leader of Lagos State chapter of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) further stated that the constitution of the country gives liberty to its citizens to choose any part of the country as residence. “The major task ahead of northern youths in the country is not for Igbos to quit the north but to join hands with the new government and Service Chiefs to end the ongoing insurgency in the region,” he said.

The Nigerian presidency has warned those agitating for a breakaway Biafra republic to have a rethink, saying the federal government would not fold its hands and allow anyone plunge the country into crisis.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who gave the warning on Saturday, in Jos, said government would not watch while some individuals and groups create unnecessary tension in the country in the guise of seeking to break away from Nigeria.
“We need to build the civic capacity to defeat the false and dangerous premises and assumption of violence extremism. Never again should we allow mindless violence inspired by false and evil precepts to threaten our national security,” Mr. Osinbajo said.
“Let me again call on persons or group in the country who have some grievance or disaffection to submit to peaceful and democratic means of expressing themselves.”
The vice president spoke at the graduation ceremony of the Executive Course 37 of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, which graduated 63 participants Saturday.
In his spech, Mr. Osinbajo reminded those embarking on mass protest for Biafra that their “right to protest is limited by the rights of others to safety and peaceful existence”.
“We can offer our country opinion without violating the law of the land or threatening law and order.”
He urged the protesters to join hands with the Buhari-led administration to develop Nigeria, saying the administration would soon end the Boko Haram insurgency in the country.
“Let me reiterate that Boko Haram terrorism as well as their ideology will soon be defeated and consigned to history,” Mr. Osinbajo said.
He admitted there were educational setbacks in the country, but said the APC-led administration would tackle the challenges in the sector as a means of ensuring better future for Nigeria’s younger generation.
“While accepting that our educational system is in a dangerously parlous state, the solutions are obvious even if not easy,” the Vice-President said.
“We have to focus on early child education, retrain teachers, ensure that our curricular will prepare our children for the 21st century.”
He charged the NIPSS new graduates to use the experiences garnered during the 10-month course to develop Nigeria in their fields of endeavour.
Earlier in an address, the Director General of NIPSS, Ahmed Tijani, said the course’s 37 participants made valuable contributions for national development, particularly in the educational sector.

PREMIUM TIMES learnt that with Saturday’s graduation, NIPSS has since 1979, when it was established, graduated 1781 course participants.

Talking About The I-Phone 7

iPhone 7 might come with 3GB of RAM and waterproofing body

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are only a couple of months old at this point, but we're already starting to hear rumors and predictions regarding their successors.
One such report came out from research company TrendForce. It says two things will stand out in the next generation of iPhones: 3GB of RAM and waterproofing. These are supposed to be the defining new features of the next iPhones. However, it's possible that only the iPhone 7 Plus will get its memory bumped up. On the other hand, both models should be waterproof, marking a first for Apple - though this is something quite common in the Android world, especially when it comes to Sony devices.
The same source reiterates that we'll see a new 4-inch iPhone next year (and pegs its release in the second quarter, so from April to June), and understandably says the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be unveiled sometime during the second half of 2016. TrendForce estimates that Apple will sell 260 million iPhones next year, 12.5% more than in 2015. It won't, however, manage to take the smartphone sales crown from Samsung, which is expected to move around 310 million units.

The Power Of Sex

If you knew how powerful sex was you wouldn't have it with just anybody. During sex there's two different exchanges that take place: a physical and spiritual.
Most grown adults are aware of the physical exchange.
But the second is the spiritual which most people don't know about. When you have sex with someone, you exchange/ obtain whatever spirit(s) they have as well. You take on their qualities , behaviors, ideology Etc GOOD OR BAD & become a part of you. Sex was intended for one man and one woman. So many problems come as a result of sex outside of marriage. Disease and unplanned pregnancy are just the scratching the surface.
You enter into a covenant with that other persons spirit. This happens every time you have sex with a person.
And ... In addition to this ... Whoever they have had sex with ... Now you're attached to those people's spirits as well. This is why there's so many people with multiple personalities, who are dibbling and dabbling in this and that , who are confused , and all messed up in their thoughts , feelings and behavior. They are dealing with their own personality as well as the other people they have physically and spiritually connected themselves too. The person you could be laying with could be full of the devil and now ... You are too. "/. How can this be avoided. Do it God's way. Just wait. Save sex until marriage. Sex is a beautiful thing it's fun it's exciting when done God's way. God knows how it feels and what it does. He created it ! But he also put boundaries in place because He knows what can happen when people get careless with it.
TROUBLE TROUBLE ( Dollar Bill voice ). The good news is this doesn't have to be you. If you haven't already engaged in sexual activity then don't. Save it for your husband or wife. If you have.... Don't do it anymore. Ask God to discipline you to wait and take away the desire because it's definitely hard to stop wanting something that is good to you after you've had it. Take your pick.
Either run the risk of sleeping with THE ENEMY or waiting and being in the Ark of safety in marriage.

Blatter To Stay On As FIFA President

Channels
Sepp Blatter says he will not stand down as FIFA President despite Swiss investigators opening criminal proceedings against him.
The 79-year-old is suspected of signing a contract that was “unfavourable to FIFA” and making a “disloyal payment” to UEFA President, Michel Platini.
But Blatter insists he “has done nothing illegal or improper”.
In a statement released through his lawyers, Blatter also said that the 1.5 million pounds payment made to Platini in 2011 was legitimate.
Platini Defends Sepp Blatter Payment
In a related development UEFA President, Michel Platini, has defended the payment made to him by FIFA President, Sepp Blatter.
In a statement released to the Union of European Football Associations, Platini said that the money was for legitimate work conducted for the world governing body.
Platini, who insists he has done nothing wrong, said that he would assist with further investigation whether they harm his image or not.

Despite Platini’s letter, Scottish FA Chief Executive, Stewart Regan, says the issue of the nine-year gap between work and payment needs to be explained.

Neymar Admits Having Talks With United

Barcelona striker, Neymar, has admitted that he held talks with Premier League side, Manchester United but maintained that no offer was made.

The Brazilian hit-man was linked to a move to United, who needed a striker and went on to sign Anthony Martial.
However, Neymar insisted that his main aim was to stay at Barcelona.
The Catalan club would be aiming to bounce back from Wednesday’s 4-1 La Liga defeat by Celta Vigo, when they entertain Las Palmas on Saturday.

They are in fifth on the table, level with Atletico Madrid, on 12 points from five games, a point behind Real Madrid, Celta and Villarreal who are in a three-way tie for the top spot.

UCL: Ronaldo Breaks Club Goals Record As Madrid Beats Malmo

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to pass the 500 goal mark and equalled an all-time club record as Real Madrid beat Malmo 2-0 in the Champions League.
The Portugal international, who had drawn blanks against Granada, Athletic Club and Malaga in recent weeks, finally hit the milestone in the 29th minute of Wednesday’s Group A clash with the Swedish champions.
He doubled his tally to equal Raul’s all-time record of 323 goals for the club, diverting home Lucas Vazquez’s right-wing cross in the final minute of the match.

The victory means Madrid have won both of their Group A matches, a record matched by Paris St-Germain, who were 3-0 winners at Shakhtar Donetsk.

Two Israelis shot and killed in West Bank

(CNN)An Israeli couple were shot and killed Thursday in the West Bank in front of their four children, according to Israeli officials.
"Initial reports suggest that moments ago, two Israeli civilians were shot to death when an assailant fired at their vehicle on a route between the communities of Elon Moreh and Itamar. Forces are conducting a search of the area," according to a text alert sent Thursday by the Israeli military spokesperson to CNN's Oren Liebermann.
Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Peter Lerner said on Twitter that the couple were shot in front of their four children.
Elon Moreh and Itamar are Israeli settlements in the northern part of the West Bank, near Nablus.

Nigeria At 55: Tackling Boko Haram Challenge

Nigeria is on the right track to winning the war on terrorism and the Boko Haram insurgents.

This is the view shared by Major-General Muyiwa Badewole and Captain Umar Aliyu, both retired officers of the Nigerian Army.
Appearing as guests on the special Independence edition of Sunrise Daily on Channels Television on Thursday, October 1, they both threw their weight behind the efforts being made by the Nigerian President in tackling insurgency in the North-East.
“I think the President means well for the Nigerian forces and for Nigeria,” Badewole said, noting that the President’s decision to relocate the Military Command Centre to Maiduguri was an early sign that he was taking the war on terrorism seriously.
Reacting to the President’s speech in the early hours of Independence Day, he stated that the December deadline given the military should not be misunderstood as promising a total end to the existence of Boko Haram.
“What he simply meant was that the ability of Boko Haram to inflict casualty on the Nigerian populace would have been seriously degraded.
“Low intensity conflict is not something you can just wish away. You will still find some renegades of insurgency taking place in some parts of the federation but the ability of Boko Haram to wage a sustained war would have been seriously degraded by December.”

Capt. Umar added that indeed there had been an issue of clarity in the President’s directive. He explained that the mandate given to the Troop Commanders is to “reclaim every inch of our soil from those insurgents.
“It’s unacceptable for them to hoist flags anywhere within Nigeria and by December 31st, there shouldn’t be any Boko Haram base or any flag flying.”
Umar, who is also a Security Consultant, stated that more responsibilities must be given to other security agencies as he believed that while the Army can reclaim territories, other agencies would be needed to sustain ownership of those towns and villages.
The retired officers also spoke about the changes that the military has experienced in recent months which they believe have contributed to the successes they have recorded against the Boko Haram.
While Major-General Badewole commended the quality of leadership and better attention being paid to the training and welfare of the soldiers, Capt. Umar asked for more to be done in the area of intelligence.
Both men also warned that Nigerians should not always believe the information coming from the camp of the insurgents but trust the Nigerian military.
They maintained that the release of videos does not necessarily mean that the insurgents still had control of Sambisa forest as the war is also psychological and Nigerians must not fall for their tactics.
“It is a feeble attempt to get attention which they don’t deserve,” Umar said.

About The Death of John Snow - Game of Thrones

"I’m not asking you to forget your dead. I’ll never forget mine. I lost fifty brothers the night that Mance attacked the Wall. But I’m asking you to think about your children now. They’ll never have children of their own if we don’t band together. The Long Night is coming and the dead come with it. No clan can stop them. The Free Folk can’t stop them, the Night’s Watch can’t stop them and all the southern kings can’t stop them! Only together. All of us. And even then it may not be enough, but at least we give the fuckers a fight."

As Lord Commander, Jon supports a controversial alliance between the Night's Watch and the Free Folk to fight against the White Walkers, and with his wildling ally, Tormund, he travels to Hardhome, where most of the Free Folk are massacredby the White Walkers and only a few thousand manage to escape with Jon. In that battle, Jon becomes the second black brother to kill a White Walker, in the process discovering their vulnerability toValyrian steel. After all his hard choices to do the right thing for the greater good, his strained relationship with his Watch brothers finally seals his fate.
